Humpday Rewind is a weekly post of photographs that are (ideally) over a year old. What for? Because sometimes all we (I) need is a little bit of nostalgia to get us (me) through the week.

I was digging through some old hiking photos and came across this. The shot was of us hikers as we goofed around while cooling down at the Taal Volcano/Lake’s crater. I haven’t been introduced to yoga yet, and didn’t even realize I was doing a tree pose then, with a sloppy execution at that. Three years later I know more poses – and can do them properly – than the four that can be seen in this picture. No biggie, really, but it’s one of those “Wala lang, I just find it awesome.” moments. :-D

Hump day, noun:

The absolute BEST day of the week, the day of maximum hope that maybe, you might make it out of this week alive. A particularly good hump day can last you the rest of the week, and by Doomday morning (Monday) you survive by anticipating hump day. Nothing goes wrong on hump day.
